FIIB Convocation 2026: 297 PGDM Graduates and FIIB’s Doctoral Scholar Step into the Corporate World

New Delhi, June 29, 2026: Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) held its convocation ceremony for the Class of 2026, conferring postgraduate diplomas in management on 297 PGDM students, alongside FIIB’s doctoral scholar. Graduates from this batch have gone on to join organizations including Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, HDFC, S&P Global, Tata Capital, CBRE, MakeMyTrip, and DHL, across consulting, BFSI, technology, analytics, and operations.

Speaking to the graduating batch, Dr. Radhika Shrivastava, President & CEO of FIIB, reflected on a cohort that joined the institute in 2024 and graduated into a markedly different business landscape two years later.

“What I keep hearing from our alumni, across decades and industries, is the same handful of lessons. Depth compounds, the ones who stayed with something long enough to truly understand it went further than those who kept switching directions. Credibility travels long after roles changed, reputations continued to open doors. And learning doesn’t stop when the degree does. It simply changes address from a classroom to a client call, from a professor to a colleague who happens to know something you don’t yet.”

The batch’s two years at FIIB coincided with a period of significant institutional change. During this time, FIIB earned AACSB accreditation placing it among the top 6% of business schools globally redesigned its curriculum through FIIBx, and rethought its approach to career pathways, industry engagement, and learning experiences across programs.

Dr. Manish Gupta, Senior Director at Google DeepMind, where he leads AI research across India and Japan, delivered the convocation address as Chief Guest.

“The world you are entering is changing faster than ever before, and your greatest advantage will be your willingness to remain curious and keep learning throughout your life. AI is becoming an incredibly powerful partner, but technology alone is never enough. Pair it with curiosity, resilience, ambition, and strong values, and you will not only build successful careers but also contribute meaningfully to solving some of the world’s most important challenges.”

As part of the ceremony, FIIB recognized two distinguished alumni for their contributions to industry:

Darpan Khurana Chandra, Director – Supply Chain Transformation at Coca-Cola India, who leads supply chain transformation, digitalization, and excellence initiatives across India and South-West Asia.

Tapan Bansal, Director at Mothercare Sourcing India Pvt. Ltd. and Co-Founder of Globgrid Fashion Hub Pvt. Ltd., recognized for nearly three decades of leadership across fashion manufacturing, global sourcing, and retail.

The ceremony closed with Dr. Shrivastava urging the graduating class to carry forward the instinct that, in her words, mattered more than any single skill: the curiosity to keep asking questions long after there is any formal reward for doing so.
